If you are starting from the Ipoh Railway Station, exit the station and head east on Jalan Dato' Seri Ahmad Said. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights. Cross the intersection and turn left onto Jalan Sultan Idris Shah. Follow this road until you see the Ipoh War Memorial on your right at Jalan Persiaran. It should take approximately 20 minutes on foot.

From the Ipoh Parade shopping mall, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the local bus service (e.g., Bus No. 1). Inform the driver that you are going to the Ipoh War Memorial. The bus will take you along Jalan Dato' Seri Ahmad Said. Get off at the stop closest to the memorial, which is within walking distance. The whole trip should take about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one from nearby rental shops. Start from the Ipoh Heritage Trail and cycle towards Jalan Sultan Idris Shah.
