If you are already in New Town, you can easily walk to D R Seenivasagam Recreational Park. Start from the Ipoh Parade shopping mall, located at Jalan Sultan Abdul Jalil. Head east on Jalan Sultan Abdul Jalil, then turn right onto Jalan Keliling Dalam. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will see the entrance of D R Seenivasagam Recreational Park on your left. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

To reach D R Seenivasagam Recreational Park by public bus, locate the nearest bus stop in New Town. Look for bus number 1 or 2, which both stop near the park. Board the bus, and ride until you reach the stop at Jalan Keliling Dalam. The bus fare is typically around RM1-2, depending on your exact starting point. After getting off, walk a short distance towards the park entrance which should be visible.
