From Johor Bahru, head to the Larkin Sentral Bus Terminal. Take bus service 170 or 160 to Woodlands Checkpoint. Once you clear immigration, you will find yourself at Woodlands MRT Station. From here, take the North-South Line towards Marina South Pier. Alight at Bukit Panjang MRT Station. Exit the station and take bus service 173 or 184 towards Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. Look for the bus stop near the entrance of the reserve.

Start at Johor Bahru's CIQ (Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine) complex and cross over to Singapore. Once you are in Singapore, make your way to the nearest MRT station, which is Woodlands MRT Station. Take the North-South Line to Bukit Panjang MRT Station. After alighting, exit the station and catch bus 173 or 184 to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.
