Car
If you are travelling by car, start by heading to Bukit Batok East Avenue 5. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Bukit Batok Road. Turn left onto Bukit Batok Road and continue until you reach the junction with Upper Bukit Timah Road. Turn right onto Upper Bukit Timah Road and keep driving until you reach the traffic lights at Jalan Kampong Chantek. Turn left onto Jalan Kampong Chantek and drive down the road until you see the entrance to the Gaharu Trail on your left. There is parking available nearby, but do check for any parking fees which may apply.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, begin your journey at Bukit Batok MRT Station (NS2). From the MRT station, take bus service 188. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes until you reach the bus stop at Upper Bukit Timah Road (after the junction of Jalan Kampong Chantek). Alight the bus and walk along Jalan Kampong Chantek for about 5-10 minutes. You will find the entrance to Gaharu Trail on your right. Ensure you have some coins or an EZ-Link card ready for bus fare, which is approximately SGD 1.00 to SGD 2.00 depending on the distance.
