Getting There

  • Car

    If you have access to a car, drive to the nearest ferry terminal in Singapore, which is typically the Marina South Pier. From Pulau Semakau, take the ferry to the Marina South Pier, which costs around SGD 10. Once you arrive at Marina South Pier, drive northwest on Marina Coastal Drive, then take the exit onto the East Coast Parkway (ECP). Follow ECP to the Bukit Timah Road exit, and continue on Bukit Timah Road until you reach Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. There is parking available at the reserve.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Bukit Timah Summit using public transport, first take the ferry from Pulau Semakau back to Marina South Pier. The ferry fare is approximately SGD 10. From Marina South Pier, take the MRT from Marina Bay Station (Circle Line) towards Dhoby Ghaut. Transfer at Dhoby Ghaut to the North South Line towards Kranji. Alight at the Bukit Panjang MRT Station. From there, you can take Bus 67 or Bus 170 to the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. The bus fare is around SGD 1.50. Once you arrive at the reserve, follow the signs to Bukit Timah Summit, which is about a 30-minute hike.
