Public Bus
To reach Jubilee Arch from the Johor Bahru city center, you can take the public bus service. Start at the Larkin Sentral Bus Terminal, which is a major hub. Board Bus No. 1 or 3, which heads towards Taman Istana. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to inform the bus driver you're going to Jalan Belukar. Once you reach Taman Istana, disembark at the nearest bus stop. From there, walk towards Jalan Belukar. Jubilee Arch is located a short 5-minute walk away, and you will see the arch as you approach the area.
Walking
If you're already near the Johor Bahru City Square or the Komtar JBCC, you can walk to Jubilee Arch. Start by heading east on Jalan Wong Ah Fook until you reach the intersection with Jalan Dhoby. Turn left and continue straight until you reach Jalan Trus. At Jalan Trus, turn right and keep walking until you reach Jalan Belukar. Jubilee Arch is located at the end of this street. The walk should take around 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.
Grab (Ride-Hailing Service)
For a more convenient option, you can use a ride-hailing service like Grab, which is widely used in Malaysia. Simply open the Grab app and enter 'Jubilee Arch, Jalan Belukar, Taman Istana, Johor Bahru' as your destination. The driver will pick you up from your current location and take you directly to Jubilee Arch. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer a more active route, consider renting a bicycle. You can rent a bike from several locations in the city, such as near the waterfront. Once you have a bike, head towards Jalan Belukar. Follow the cycling paths leading to Taman Istana, and it will take about 20-30 minutes to reach Jubilee Arch. Keep an eye out for signage directing you to Taman Istana.
