If you are driving, start your journey in Alor Setar. Head towards Jalan Tunku Ibrahim and follow the road until you reach the intersection with Jalan Sultan Badlishah. Turn left onto Jalan Sultan Badlishah, and continue until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Jalan Pintu Gerbang. Continue straight, and you will see the Kedah State Art Gallery on your left at Bandar Alor Setar, 05000 Alor Setar, Kedah. Parking is available nearby, but ensure to check for any parking fees that may apply.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a local bus from various points in Alor Setar. Look for buses heading towards the city center. Get off at the Alor Setar Bus Terminal. From the terminal, you can either walk to the gallery, which is approximately a 15-minute stroll, or take a taxi or ride-sharing service for convenience. The taxi fare from the terminal to the gallery should be around RM 10-15. Ensure you have some cash ready for the taxi fare.
