Car
If you are driving from Alor Setar, take the North-South Expressway (E1) and head south. Exit at the Sungai Petani exit (Exit 180). Follow the signs towards Kota Kuala Muda. Once you reach Kota Kuala Muda, continue straight until you see signs for Pantai Teluk Nipah, which is located about 10 km from the town center. Parking is available near the beach, and typically free of charge.

To reach Pantai Teluk Nipah by bus, you can take a bus from Alor Setar to Sungai Petani. Buses leave frequently from the Alor Setar Bus Terminal and the fare is approximately MYR 10-15. Once you arrive at Sungai Petani, transfer to a local bus heading towards Kota Kuala Muda. The second leg of the trip will cost around MYR 5 and will take about 30 minutes. Once in Kota Kuala Muda, you can take a taxi or ride-sharing service to Pantai Teluk Nipah for around MYR 15.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi or use a ride-sharing service like Grab. If starting from Alor Setar, a taxi will take approximately 45 minutes to reach Pantai Teluk Nipah and will cost around MYR 70-90. If you are already in Kota Kuala Muda, a short taxi ride will cost about MYR 15 and take around 10 minutes.
