Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the main town of Kuah in Langkawi, head north on Jalan Kuah. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will reach the junction at Padang Matsirat. Turn left onto Jalan Pantai Cenang and continue for about 5 kilometers until you see the signs for Teluk Burau. Follow the signs and turn right onto Jalan Teluk Burau, which will lead you directly to the bay. There is free parking available near the beach area.

• Public Bus

  From Kuah, you can take a local bus (the 'Klinik' bus) heading towards Pantai Cenang. The fare is approximately RM 5.00. Inform the driver that you want to go to Teluk Burau; they will drop you off at the nearest stop. From there, it will be a short walk (approximately 10 minutes) to the beach area. Look for signs directing you to Teluk Burau.

• Taxi

  You can also opt for a taxi from Kuah to Teluk Burau. The taxi fare should be around RM 30 to RM 40. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey. The ride will take approximately 20-25 minutes depending on traffic. Taxis are available at most hotels and major tourist attractions.

• Rental Car

  For those who prefer flexibility, renting a car is a great option. Rental services are available at the Langkawi International Airport and in Kuah. Prices start around RM 70 per day. Follow the same driving directions as mentioned above. Make sure to have a GPS or map ready, as some roads can be tricky.
