Getting there

Car

If you're driving from Kota Bharu, take the E8 highway towards Kuala Krai. Continue on the E8 for approximately 70 km. Once you reach Kuala Krai, take the exit for Jalan Kuala Krai - Dabong. Follow this road for about 31 km until you reach Dabong. The journey should take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic.

Public Bus

From Kota Bharu, head to the Bus Terminal (Terminal Bas Kota Bharu). Look for buses heading to Kuala Krai. The bus fare is typically around RM 15-20. Upon reaching Kuala Krai, you will need to transfer to a local bus or taxi that goes to Dabong, which is about 31 km away. Local buses might charge around RM 5-10, while a taxi could cost approximately RM 30-40.

Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service

If you prefer a direct route without transfers, consider hiring a taxi or using a ride-hailing app such as Grab. From Kota Bharu to Dabong, the trip will take about 1.5 to 2 hours and may cost between RM 100-150 depending on the traffic and time of day.

Train

While there is no direct train to Dabong, you can take a train from Kota Bharu to Gua Musang, which is the nearest train station. After arriving at Gua Musang, you will need to take a taxi to Dabong, which is about 35 km away. Train tickets may range from RM 20-40, and taxi fares from Gua Musang to Dabong are typically around RM 40-50.
