From Sembulan, head east towards Jalan Sembulan. Walk along this road until you reach the intersection with Jalan Pantai. Turn left onto Jalan Pantai and continue walking until you reach the shoreline. You will see the waterfront area ahead. Keep walking along the shore until you reach the pedestrian bridge. Cross the bridge, and you will find yourself on Jalan Padang Merdeka. Continue straight for about 500 meters, and you will arrive at Merdeka Square, located on your right.
