LRT (Light Rail Transit)
To reach Jalan Petaling from anywhere in Kuala Lumpur, head to the nearest LRT station. If you are at KL Sentral, take the Kelana Jaya Line towards Terminal Putra. Get off at the Masjid Jamek station. Transfer to the Sri Petaling Line at Masjid Jamek station and travel one stop to the Plaza Rakyat station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to Jalan Petaling, which is about a 10-minute walk. You will see colorful street stalls and shops as you approach.

If you are near Bukit Bintang, you can take the KL Monorail. Board the train at Bukit Bintang station and ride towards Titiwangsa. Get off at the Hang Tuah station and transfer to the LRT Line. From Hang Tuah, take the LRT to Masjid Jamek station. After that, follow the instructions above to walk to Jalan Petaling.

You can also take a bus to reach Jalan Petaling. Look for any bus heading towards Kuala Lumpur City Centre. Buses such as the Go KL City Bus are free and will take you close to Jalan Petaling. Get off at the 'Petaling Street' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk towards Jalan Petaling, which is just a short distance away. You will notice the vibrant market atmosphere as you approach.
