Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you are starting from Kuala Lumpur Sentral, take the KTM Komuter train towards Batu Caves. Alight at the Kuala Lumpur station, which is just one stop away. From the Kuala Lumpur station, you can take a Grab (a ride-hailing service) or a taxi to Planetarium Negara, located at 53, Jalan Perdana. The distance is approximately 3 km, and it should take around 10-15 minutes by car. Alternatively, you can walk to the planetarium, which is about a 30-minute walk from the station. Simply head east on Jalan Tun Sambanthan, then turn onto Jalan Perdana.

  • Public Transport

    If you are near the Bukit Bintang area, take the Monorail from Bukit Bintang station to the Hang Tuah station. Transfer to the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) and travel towards Sungai Buloh. Get off at the Pasar Seni station. From Pasar Seni, you can catch the bus number 10 or 11 that will take you to the Perdana Botanical Gardens. Once you arrive at the park, it’s a short walk to Planetarium Negara.

    If you are in the vicinity of the Perdana Botanical Gardens, you can simply walk to Planetarium Negara. Enter the gardens from Jalan Perdana and head towards the main path.
