Public Transport
To reach Pulau Ketam from Kuala Lumpur, start by taking the KTM Komuter train from KL Sentral to the Port Klang station. The train ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Port Klang, exit the station and head towards the ferry terminal, which is a short walk away. Look for the ticket counter for the ferries to Pulau Ketam and purchase your ticket. The ferry ride to Pulau Ketam takes about 30 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views as you approach the island.
Taxi/Grab
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use the Grab app from your location in Kuala Lumpur to Port Klang. Inform the driver to take you to the Port Klang ferry terminal. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, buy your ticket for the ferry to Pulau Ketam, which takes around 30 minutes.
Bus
You can take a bus from Kuala Lumpur to Port Klang. Head to the Pudu Sentral bus terminal and look for buses heading to Klang. The bus ride will take around 1 hour. Once you reach Klang, you can take a short taxi ride or walk to the Port Klang ferry terminal. At the ferry terminal, purchase your ticket for the ferry to Pulau Ketam, which departs regularly and takes about 30 minutes.
