LRT (Light Rail Transit)
If you are near the KL Sentral station, take the LRT (Light Rail Transit) from KL Sentral to the Masjid Jamek station. At Masjid Jamek station, transfer to the Kelana Jaya Line and head towards Terminal Putra. Get off at the next stop, which is the Pasar Seni station. From Pasar Seni, exit the station and head towards the main road, Jalan Melayu. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Jalan Istana. The Royal Museum (Istana Negara) will be on your right.
Bus
You can take the Go KL City Bus, which is free and has several routes. Board the bus at one of the designated stops near your location. Take the blue line (B18) and get off at the 'Jalan Istana' stop. From the bus stop, walk straight along Jalan Istana for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Royal Museum (Istana Negara) on your left.
Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service
You can use a taxi or ride-hailing service such as Grab. Open the app and enter 'Royal Museum' or 'Istana Negara' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the museum. Make sure to specify that you want to go to the Royal Museum on Jalan Istana, and it should take around 15-30 minutes depending on traffic.
Walking
If you are staying in the vicinity of Jalan Istana, you can walk to the Royal Museum. Start at the nearest landmark or hotel. Head towards Jalan Istana, and follow the signs for Istana Negara. It should take about 15 minutes on foot, and the museum will be on your left side as you approach.
