If you're near an LRT station, take the Kelana Jaya Line towards Terminal Putra. Get off at the Masjid Jamek station. From there, exit the station and head towards the Jalan P. Ramlee exit. Walk along Jalan P. Ramlee until you reach the intersection with Jalan Tun Perak. Turn left onto Jalan Tun Perak and continue straight until you see Dataran Medan Pasar on your right.

If you are near a Monorail station, take the Monorail towards Titiwangsa. Alight at Bukit Bintang station. From Bukit Bintang, head towards Jalan Sultan Ismail, then turn left onto Jalan Tun Razak. Walk straight until you reach the junction with Jalan Tun Perak. Turn right on Jalan Tun Perak and keep walking until you see Dataran Medan Pasar on your left.

If you are already in the vicinity of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre, you can walk to Dataran Medan Pasar. From Petaling Street (Chinatown), head north on Jalan Petaling until you reach Jalan Sultan. Turn left onto Jalan Sultan and continue until you reach the intersection with Jalan Tun Perak. Turn right onto Jalan Tun Perak, and Dataran Medan Pasar will be ahead on your left.
