Getting there

Bus

If you are at Kuantan City Centre, head to the local bus terminal called Terminal Kuantan. Look for buses heading towards Teluk Chempedak or Balok Beach. Make sure to ask the bus driver to drop you off at Pantai Batu Hitam. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you get off, you will see signs leading to the beach, just follow the path towards the South China Sea.

Bicycle

From Kuantan City Centre, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Cycle towards Jalan Besar, heading northeast. Follow the road signs towards Pantai Batu Hitam, which will lead you through some scenic routes. The distance is approximately 10 kilometers and takes about 40 minutes. Keep an eye out for the beach signs as you near the coast.

Walking

If you are near the Kuantan Waterfront, you can walk to Pantai Batu Hitam. Start from the waterfront area and head towards Jalan Besar. Follow the road as it curves towards the beach. It is roughly a 30-minute walk of about 2.5 kilometers. Enjoy the view as you approach the South China Sea, and you will find the beach on your right.
