Bus
From Kuantan city center, head to the nearest bus terminal, which is Terminal Makmur. You can take a local bus or a ride-hailing service to reach the terminal. Once at Terminal Makmur, look for buses heading towards Balok or Pantai Balok. The fare is typically around RM 2-4. After approximately 30 minutes, alight at the Pantai Balok stop. From there, you can walk approximately 1.5 kilometers towards Pantai Pelindung. Just follow the coastal road, and you will reach your destination.

If you're up for some exercise, you can rent a bicycle from various rental shops in Kuantan. Start from the Kuantan city center and head towards Jalan Teluk Sisek. Follow this road until you reach Jalan Besar, then turn onto Jalan Balok. Continue cycling along this road for about 4 kilometers, which will take you to Pantai Pelindung.
