Getting there

Walking

If you are in Kuah Town, start at the Kuah Jetty. Head south on Jalan Persiaran Putra until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Jalan Tanjung Putra. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a T-junction. At the T-junction, turn left onto Jalan Padang Gaong. Follow this road for about 3 kilometers, and you will see signs directing you to Kampung Padang Gaong. As you enter the village, ask locals for directions to Makam Purba, which is located within the village.

Public Transport

From Cenang Beach, walk to the nearest bus stop and take a Langkawi bus heading towards Kuah Town. Get off at the Kuah Jetty stop. From there, follow the walking directions provided above. Alternatively, you can ask the bus driver for the closest drop-off point to Kampung Padang Gaong and navigate from there.

Bicycle Rental

If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from any rental shop in Cenang Beach. Head towards Kuah Town via Jalan Pantai Cenang. Upon reaching the Kuah area, follow the same route as described for walking. This is about a 10-kilometer ride, so be prepared for a moderate cycle!
