If you are in the heart of Malacca, you can easily walk to the Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum. Start from the iconic Jonker Street, known for its vibrant atmosphere and shops. Head east on Jonker Street until you reach Jalan Hang Jebat. Turn left onto Jalan Hang Jebat and continue walking straight. When you reach the intersection with Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, turn right. The museum is located at 48-50, Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from Jonker Street.
Trishaw
For a unique experience, consider taking a trishaw to the Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum. You can find trishaws near Jonker Street or other tourist hotspots. Simply tell the rider you want to go to 48-50, Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock. The ride will take about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic, and will provide a wonderful view of the city as you travel.
Public Bus
You can also take a public bus to get to the museum. Look for the Malacca City Bus service and take Bus number 17, which heads towards Banda Hilir. Get off at the stop near the Malacca River, and then walk towards Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock. The museum is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the river until you see Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, then head left; the museum will be on your left.
