Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in Miri city center, start at the Miri Waterfront. Head south along the waterfront path towards the Miri River. Continue walking until you reach the end of the waterfront path, where you will see Jalan Miri-Pujut. Cross the road and follow Jalan Miri-Pujut as it curves to the left. Keep walking straight until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Jalan Kampung Pulau Melayu. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the entrance of Kampung Pulau Melayu. Gerai ikan will be located nearby, and you can ask locals for precise directions if needed.

• Bicycle

  For a more adventurous route, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Miri. Begin at the Miri Waterfront and ride south along the waterfront. Once you reach Jalan Miri-Pujut, make a left turn and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Jalan Kampung Pulau Melayu. Cycle straight for about 1 km until you reach Kampung Pulau Melayu. Gerai ikan is located in this area, and you can ask locals for additional directions.

• Public Transport

  From Miri city center, take a local bus heading towards Kampung Pulau Melayu. Make sure to confirm that the bus stops at Kampung Pulau Melayu before boarding. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Kampung Pulau Melayu, disembark and ask locals for directions to Gerai ikan, which is situated nearby. They are usually very friendly and willing to help tourists.
