Once you arrive at Marudi, you can take a local taxi or hire a motorcycle taxi (known as 'bemo') to reach the nearest access point to Latak Waterfall, which is approximately 30 minutes away.
Motorcycle Taxi (Bemo)
Once you reach Marudi, find a bemo (motorcycle taxi) at the local station. Ask the driver to take you to Latak Waterfall. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and the drivers are generally familiar with the location.
Walking from Access Point
If you are dropped off at the nearest access point, you will need to walk to the waterfall. Follow the trail signs that lead into the jungle, which will guide you towards the waterfall. The path can be a bit challenging, so wear comfortable shoes and carry enough water. The walk to Latak Waterfall will take around 20-30 minutes.
