Car
If you're driving, start from Ipoh, which is a central city in the Northern Region. Take the North-South Expressway (E1) and head south. After approximately 20 km, take the exit toward Gopeng. Continue along Route 1 and follow the signs for Gopeng. Once you reach Gopeng, look for Jalan Dato' Marzuki. Gua Kandu is located at Jalan Dato' Marzuki, Kampung Gunung Panjang, 31600 Gopeng, Perak. There are parking options nearby.
Public Transportation - Bus
From Ipoh, you can take a bus to Gopeng. The bus terminal in Ipoh is located at Medan Kidd. Look for buses heading to Gopeng; the journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes and costs around RM 5-10. Upon arrival at Gopeng, you can take a taxi or grab to reach Gua Kandu. The distance from the bus station to Gua Kandu is about 6 km.
Taxi/Grab
If you're in Gopeng after taking a bus or driving, you can use a taxi or Grab to reach Gua Kandu. Simply input the destination 'Gua Kandu, Jalan Dato' Marzuki' into the app. The fare should be approximately RM 10-15 from Gopeng town center to Gua Kandu, depending on traffic conditions.
Walking
If you are already in the Kampung Gunung Panjang area, you can walk to Gua Kandu. It's about a 1.5 km walk from the nearest bus stop or taxi drop-off point. Follow Jalan Dato' Marzuki heading towards the cave, and you should reach your destination in about 20 minutes.
