Walking
If you are in the heart of George Town, start at the popular Komtar building, which is a well-known landmark. From Komtar, head south on Jalan Penang. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Lebuh Chulia. Turn right onto Lebuh Chulia and walk until you reach the junction with Lebuh Armenian. Yap Kongsi will be on your left at the end of this street.
Public Bus
Take the Rapid Penang bus number 101 or 102 from your location. If you are unsure of your nearest bus stop, ask locals for the nearest bus stop to Komtar. Once on the bus, ask the driver to inform you when you reach 'Lebuh Armenian' stop. After getting off, walk south on the street, and Yap Kongsi will be a short walk ahead on your left.
Trishaw
You can easily hire a trishaw from various points in George Town, especially around popular tourist areas. Tell the trishaw rider to take you to Yap Kongsi on Lebuh Armenian. If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in George Town. Start your journey from any rental point and head towards the Esplanade along the coast. From there, make your way to Jalan Penang and follow the same path as described in the walking directions. Yap Kongsi is located just off Lebuh Armenian and is easily accessible by bike.
