Walking
If you are in Georgetown, start by heading towards Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah. Look for the Penang State Museum on Jalan Farquhar, which is a well-known landmark. From there, walk along Jalan Farquhar towards the coast. After a short walk, you will reach the intersection with Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah. Turn left onto Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah and continue walking straight. You will soon see Fort Cornwallis on your left side. The lighthouse is located within the fort complex.
Public Transport - Bus
Take the Rapid Penang bus number 101, 102, or 201 from any major bus stop in Georgetown. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the 'Fort Cornwallis' stop. Once you get off, walk towards the fort entrance, which is a short distance away. Follow the signs to the lighthouse within the fort complex.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, head towards the Esplanade area in Georgetown. From the Esplanade, cycle along the coastal road towards Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah. Upon reaching the intersection, turn left onto Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah. Continue straight for a few minutes, and you will arrive at Fort Cornwallis, where the lighthouse is located inside the fort.
