From Komtar, walk south along Jalan Penang until you reach Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling. Turn left onto Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling and continue walking until you reach the junction with Jalan Weld Quay. Turn right onto Jalan Weld Quay and walk straight. You will eventually arrive at Swettenham Pier, which is located at the end of Pengkalan Weld. The pier will be visible as you approach.
