Getting There

  • Car

    From Taman Negara National Park, head towards Kuala Tahan. Use the access road leading to the main highway (Route 68). Continue on Route 68 until you reach the junction with Route 61. Turn left onto Route 61 heading towards Kuala Lumpur. Stay on this road for approximately 2 hours. As you approach Ampang, look for signs directing you to Jalan Taman Zooview. Turn right onto Jalan Taman Zooview. The National Zoo of Malaysia will be on your left.

    From Taman Negara, take a taxi or a pre-arranged shuttle service to Jerantut bus terminal. At Jerantut, catch a bus heading to Kuala Lumpur (approximately 4-5 hours). Once you arrive at Kuala Lumpur, use the LRT (Light Rail Transit). Board the LRT at Masjid Jamek station and transfer to the Ampang line, getting off at the Terminal Ampang station.
