Once you arrive at the terminal, purchase a ferry ticket to Kampung Salang. The ferry ride usually takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. After disembarking at Kampung Salang, you can either walk or hire a local boat to take you to Batu Zai, which is nearby. Be sure to ask for directions to ensure you reach the exact spot.

Public Transportation

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Kuala Lumpur or another city to Mersing. Once you arrive in Mersing, head to the ferry terminal and purchase a ticket for the ferry to Kampung Salang on Tioman Island. The ferry ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Kampung Salang, you can either walk or take a local boat to Batu Zai. It's advisable to ask locals for the best way to reach Batu Zai from the Kampung Salang jetty.

After arriving at Kampung Salang, you can walk to Batu Zai if you are feeling adventurous. Head south along the beach, and you will eventually reach the area where Batu Zai is located.
