Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Walking
If you are starting from the Malé City Center, head towards the waterfront area. Begin at the Republic Square (Jumhooree Maidan) and walk east along the coastline. Continue straight until you reach the end of the waterfront, where you will see a road called Jumuhooree Higun. Turn right onto Jumuhooree Higun. Continue walking straight for about 5-10 minutes. Masveringe jagaha will be located on your left-hand side, near the intersection with the main street.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Malé. Start your ride from the main ferry terminal. Head along the waterfront towards the east direction. After passing Republic Square, continue cycling along the coast. When you reach Jumuhooree Higun, turn right and keep pedaling straight for around 5 minutes. You will find Masveringe jagaha on your left.
Public Transport (Bus)
Take a local bus from the Malé Bus Terminal. Look for bus number 1 or 3, which heads towards the eastern part of Malé. Get off at the Jumuhooree Higun stop. From there, walk a short distance down Jumuhooree Higun, and Masveringe jagaha will be on your left side. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
