Walking
If you are starting from the Maldives Islamic Centre, head southeast on Boduthakurufaanu Magu. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach the end of the road. Republic Square will be on your left, just past the National Museum.

From the ferry terminal at Villingili, exit the terminal and walk north along the waterfront on the main road, Boduthakurufaanu Magu. Keep walking for about 1.2 kilometers until you see the National Museum on your right. Republic Square is directly across from the museum.

Starting from the local market (Malé Fish Market), walk east towards the water. Turn left onto Boduthakurufaanu Magu and continue for about 700 meters. You will see Republic Square on your right, positioned near the National Museum.
