Seaplane
The most direct and scenic way to reach Kandima Maldives from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé is by seaplane. Upon arrival at MLE, a Kandima representative will greet you and escort you to the seaplane terminal. The seaplane journey takes approximately 40 minutes, offering breathtaking aerial views of the Maldivian atolls. Seaplanes operate during daylight hours, with the last departure around 3:00 PM. Ensure your international flight arrives well before this time. As of July 2025, round-trip seaplane transfers cost USD 675 per adult and USD 375 per child (ages 2-11.99). Infants under 1.99 years travel free. This price is typically arranged and charged by the resort.

Domestic Flight and Speedboat
An alternative to the seaplane is a domestic flight from Velana International Airport (MLE) to Dhaalu Airport (KDM), followed by a speedboat transfer to Kandima Maldives. After arriving at MLE, a Kandima representative will assist you with the domestic flight check-in. The domestic flight to Dhaalu Airport takes about 25 minutes, followed by a 15-minute speedboat ride to the resort. As of July 2025, round-trip domestic flight transfers in Comfort Class cost USD 414 per adult and USD 300 per child (below 11.99 years). Sapphire Class (premium) is also available at USD 610 per adult and USD 480 per child, including lounge access and extra baggage allowance. The speedboat transfer is included in the domestic flight transfer cost.
