  • Seaplane

    The most common way to reach Dusit Thani Maldives from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé is via seaplane. The resort arranges these transfers through Trans Maldivian Airways. Upon arrival at MLE, a resort representative will escort you to the seaplane terminal. Here, you can relax in the Dusit Thani private lounge while waiting for your flight. The scenic seaplane journey takes approximately 35 minutes, offering stunning aerial views of the atolls. Seaplane transfers are operational during daylight hours only (06:30 to 16:00). As of July 2025, round-trip seaplane transfers cost approximately USD 650 per adult and USD 550 per child (2-11 years), inclusive of all taxes. Infants under 2 years travel free. Note that baggage allowance is 25kg per person, including hand luggage.

  • Domestic Flight + Speedboat

    An alternative to the seaplane is a domestic flight from Velana International Airport (MLE) to Dharavandhoo Airport (DRV), followed by a 10-minute speedboat ride to Dusit Thani Maldives. The resort representative will greet you at Dharavandhoo Airport and assist with the speedboat transfer. Domestic flights operate between 06:30 and 23:30. As of July 2025, round-trip domestic flight and speedboat transfers cost approximately USD 550 per adult and USD 450 per child (2-11 years), inclusive of all taxes. Infants under 2 years travel free. Baggage allowance is the same as the seaplane option: 25kg per person, including hand luggage.
