  • Seaplane

    The only way to reach the JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa from Malé International Airport (MLE) is via seaplane. Upon arrival at MLE, a resort representative will greet you and escort you to the seaplane terminal. The seaplane transfer takes approximately 50-55 minutes. The resort arranges the seaplane transfer, and the cost is not included in the room rate. Roundtrip seaplane transfer costs are approximately USD 630 per adult and USD 378 per child (ages 2-11). Infants under 2 years travel free if no seat is occupied. Baggage allowance is 25 kg total (20 kg check-in and 5 kg hand luggage); excess baggage is charged at USD 5.50 per kg. Seaplane services operate only during daylight hours (6:00 am to 3:30 pm), so ensure your international flight arrives in Malé before 3:00 pm for same-day transfer.
