Seaplane
The most common and scenic way to reach Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa is via a 40-minute seaplane flight from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé. Upon arrival at MLE, a resort guide will greet you and escort you to the designated seaplane terminal. The resort arranges the seaplane transfer, coordinating with Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA). Seaplanes operate only during daylight hours (6:00 to 15:30). Ensure your international flight arrives in Malé before 15:00 to allow for same-day seaplane transfer. The roundtrip seaplane transfer costs approximately $590 USD per adult and $360 USD per child (2-12 years), inclusive of all taxes. Infants under 2 years travel free. The baggage allowance is 23 kg per person, plus 5 kg of hand luggage. Excess baggage is charged at approximately $5 USD per kg. Note that seaplane transfers are subject to change.

Domestic Flight and Speedboat
An alternative to the seaplane is a domestic flight from Malé to Ifuru Airport, followed by a 30-minute speedboat ride to the resort. The domestic flight takes approximately 35 minutes. Upon arrival at Malé airport (Velana International) in the Maldives, after completing security procedures and exiting into the arrivals hall, a resort guide will warmly welcome you and offer guidance to the designated location for your onward transfer to Fasmendhoi. The roundtrip domestic flight and speedboat transfer costs approximately $610 USD per adult and $380 USD per child (2-12 years), inclusive of all taxes. Infants under 2 years travel free. Contact the Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa at least 72 hours prior to arrival to arrange the transfer.
