Seaplane
The most common and scenic way to reach Fasmendhoo Island is via a 40-minute seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé. Upon arrival at the airport, a resort representative will escort you to the seaplane terminal for check-in. The seaplane offers breathtaking aerial views of the Maldivian atolls. Seaplane transfers typically cost around $500 - $600 USD per person for a round trip. Note that seaplanes only operate during daylight hours (approximately 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM).
Domestic Flight and Speedboat
An alternative to the seaplane is a 35-minute domestic flight from Velana International Airport (MLE) to Ifuru Airport (IFU), followed by a 30-minute speedboat ride to Fasmendhoo Island. This option is particularly convenient for guests arriving on international flights in the evening. A domestic flight and speedboat transfer typically costs around $400 - $500 USD per person for a round trip. The speedboat will be waiting at Ifuru Airport to transfer you to the island.
