Ferry and Speedboat
To reach Redhan Beach on Vaadhoo Island, travelers typically start from Velana International Airport (MLE) near Malé. From the airport, take a ferry to Malé. From Malé, you have a few options: a domestic flight to Ifuru Airport followed by a 25-minute speedboat ride to Vaadhoo Island, or a direct ferry from Malé that operates on Saturdays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Alternatively, you can take a ferry and fly to either Kaadedhdhoo Airport, Maavarulu Airport, or Kooddoo Atoll Airport, and then travel to Vaadhoo. Ferry fares from Malé to local islands range from $5 to $30 USD per person. Speedboat transfers are more expensive, typically around $35 USD per person. Domestic flights vary in price. Factor in additional costs for inter-island transfers and potential overnight stays in Malé if ferry schedules don't align with your arrival.
