From Malé International Airport (MLE), the most common way to reach Vaadhoo involves a combination of domestic flight and speedboat. First, take a domestic flight to Ifuru Airport (IFU), the closest airport to Vaadhoo. Upon arrival at Ifuru Airport, a speedboat will take you to Vaadhoo Island. The speedboat ride typically takes around 30 minutes to 1 hour. A domestic flight from Malé to Ifuru and then a speedboat to Vaadhoo will cost around $210 - $450.
Ferry and Domestic Flight
Alternatively, you can take a ferry from Male Airport to Fihalhohi Island Resort, then take a domestic flight from Velana International Airport (MLE) to Kaadedhdhoo Airport (KDM), and then travel to Vaadhoo.
