Getting There
Walking
Ahola Thoddoo is located within the main village area of Thoddoo. From the Thoddoo port, head straight through the main road. After approximately 500m, turn right. Ahola Thoddoo will be on your left after another 100m. The walk is roughly 10-15 minutes. There are no sidewalks, so be mindful of bicycles and motorbikes. No costs are associated with walking.
Public Transport
There is no public transportation available on Thoddoo other than speedboats and ferries to and from other islands. These services connect Thoddoo to Malé and other nearby islands. To reach Ahola Thoddoo from the Thoddoo ferry terminal, walking is the most common option. Alternatively, arrange for a pick-up with your hotel in advance. Speedboat from Male Airport to Thoddoo costs $35-$50 per person.
Taxi
Taxis are available on Thoddoo, but are not as readily available as in larger cities. You can ask your hotel to arrange a taxi for you. A short taxi ride from the Thoddoo ferry terminal to Ahola Thoddoo will cost approximately 30 MVR. Confirm the price with the driver before starting your journey.
