From Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé, the most common way to reach Dive Villa is by speedboat. Tourist speedboats typically depart from the airport jetty and take about 1 to 1.5 hours to reach Thoddoo. A pre-booked round trip transfer costs around $70 per person. Ensure your guesthouse arranges the transfer, as schedules can vary. Private speedboat transfers are also available for around $650-$700 per boat.

Public Ferry

A more budget-friendly option is the public ferry, though it takes longer. The public ferry to Thoddoo departs from Malé. Note that local ferries are often delayed or canceled due to weather. The direct ferry from Malé to Thoddoo takes approximately 5 hours and costs around $10-$15. Alternatively, you can take a ferry from Malé to Rasdhoo (approximately 3 hours, $3-$5), then another ferry from Rasdhoo to Thoddoo (approximately 1.5 hours, $3-$5). From the Thoddoo harbor, Dive Villa is a short walk or bicycle ride away.
