    From Velana International Airport (MLE) on the island of Hulhule near Male, the most common way to reach Thoddoo is by speedboat. Speedboats typically depart from the airport or Male. A pre-booked speedboat transfer will usually have a representative meet you at the airport to escort you to the boat. The speedboat journey takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Typical cost: $35 - $50 per person, one way. Private speedboats can also be arranged, costing around $650 - $700 per boat.

  • Public Ferry

    A more budget-friendly option is the public ferry, though it involves a longer travel time and potential transfer. First, take the public ferry from the airport to Male.
