From most points on the island, it's easily accessible by foot, with signs pointing you in the right direction. The island is small enough to walk its entire perimeter in about two hours. No costs are associated with walking.

  • Public Transport

    While there are no cars on Thulusdhoo, some guesthouses offer buggy pick-up from the ferry terminal. Otherwise, you can easily walk to Bikini Beach from the terminal. The public ferry from Malé costs approximately $3 per person. A taxi from the airport to the Malé ferry terminal will be about $5. The airport ferry to Male is about $1 per person. The ferry ride is about 90 minutes.

  • Speedboat

    If arriving by speedboat from Malé, arrange for a pick-up with your guesthouse. They will typically meet you at the jetty. A shared speedboat costs around $30 per person. A private speedboat will be significantly more. The ride is about 30 minutes.
