It was the first island in the Maldives to implement a systematic waste management system, earning it the Green Leaf Award in 2014. The islanders take great pride in maintaining the cleanliness of their home, and visitors will notice the pristine condition of the beaches and surroundings.The island is small enough to explore on foot, with a beautiful bikini beach stretching along its length. The house reef, easily accessible from the beach, teems with marine life, offering excellent snorkeling opportunities.
