Car
From the center of Segou, head north on Avenue Moussa Tavele towards Avenue Moussa Tavele. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Liberte. Turn left onto Rue de la Liberte and follow this road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will then see signs directing you to Dayimu, which is located in Lafiabougou, Segou. Look for the attractions along the way and follow the main road until you reach your destination.
Public Transportation
To reach Dayimu by public transportation, go to the main bus station in Segou. Look for shared taxis (often referred to as 'clandos') heading towards Lafiabougou. They usually leave when full, so be prepared for a wait. The fare should be around 200-300 CFA. Once you are dropped off in Lafiabougou, ask local residents for directions to Dayimu, as it is a known tourist attraction. It should be within a short walking distance from where you are dropped off.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Segou. Start from the center of Segou and head north on Avenue Moussa Tavele. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Rue de la Liberte. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers. Cycling to Dayimu will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on your speed. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.
