Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Segou. Head southwest on Avenue Moussa Tavele. Continue straight for about 1.5 km, then turn left onto Route de Ségou. After approximately 2 km, you will see the Monument des Rois de Ségou on your right. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that it might be limited during peak tourist hours.
Public Transportation
To reach the Monument des Rois de Ségou using public transportation, find a local taxi or bus that heads toward the Route de Ségou. Most local buses or shared taxis operate from the main bus station. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Monument des Rois de Ségou stop, which should be around 2 km out of the central area. The fare is generally around 200-500 CFA depending on your starting point.
Walking
If you are close to the monument, walking is a great option. From the central market in Segou, head southwest on Avenue Moussa Tavele for about 1.5 km. Then, turn left onto Route de Ségou and continue walking for another 2 km. The monument will be on your right. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, especially if it's hot outside.
