Getting There

Start at the heart of Birgu, at the main square known as the 'Piazza San Bastian.' From there, head east towards the waterfront. Once you reach the promenade, turn left and walk along the water. You will see beautiful views of Valletta across the harbor. Continue walking until you reach the ferry terminal, where you can catch a ferry to Valletta. The ferry is a short and scenic ride that takes about 10 minutes.

Once you arrive at the Valletta ferry terminal, disembark and follow the signs towards the city center. Head up the steps to the main road, where you will find yourself on 'The Strand.' Continue straight along this road, and shortly, you will arrive at the entrance of the Parliament Building, which is located at the end of Republic Street.

If you prefer to walk directly from Birgu to Valletta, head towards the main entrance of Birgu and follow the signs leading to 'Valletta.' The most direct route is to walk along the waterfront and follow the winding coastal path. You will pass several small parks and viewpoints. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and you will eventually arrive at the city gates of Valletta, just a short distance from the Parliament Building.
