The Malta National Aquarium is easily accessible by bus. Several bus routes serve Qawra, including routes 31, 45, 48, 186, 212, and 221. From Valletta, you can take bus routes 45, 48, or 31. From the airport, take the X3 bus. Bus tickets cost €3 and can be purchased on the bus. The nearest bus stop is right outside the aquarium entrance.

Taxis are readily available throughout Malta. A taxi from St. Paul's Bay to the Malta National Aquarium typically costs between €15 and €20. A taxi ride from Valletta to the aquarium is approximately 20 minutes. Taxi services like Bolt and eCabs are also available.

If driving, follow signs to Qawra and then to Triq it-Trunciera, where the aquarium is located. The aquarium offers free parking for visitors in its internal and external car park, which has over 140 spaces. Validate your parking ticket at the aquarium reception upon entry.

If you are already in the Qawra area, the Malta National Aquarium is easily accessible on foot. It is located at the northernmost tip of Qawra, near Ta' Fra Ben. From Bugibba Bay 5 bus stop, the aquarium is approximately 1 km away.
