Getting There

  • Walking

    From Bugibba Square, head south on Triq il-Luzzu towards Triq San Pawl. Continue straight until you reach the coast. After about 10 minutes, you will arrive at the Bugibba Jetty. From here, catch a ferry to Gozo. The ferry will take you directly to the port of Mgarr in Gozo. Once you arrive at Mgarr, turn left and follow the signs to Għajnsielem. Cominotto Reef is located a short distance from the coast, so from Għajnsielem, you may need to arrange a boat trip to reach the reef.

    From Bugibba, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Triq il-Luzzu. Take bus number 41 or 42 towards Valletta. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Gozo Ferry Terminal' stop. Once at the terminal, purchase a ferry ticket to Gozo and board the ferry. After about 25 minutes on the ferry, you will arrive at Mgarr. From Mgarr, follow the signs to Għajnsielem and arrange a boat trip to Cominotto Reef.
