Getting There

  • Car

    From Ghajn Tuffieha Bay, head east on the main road (Triq Ghajn Tuffieha) towards the town of Manikata. Continue straight for about 2.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Triq il-Wied and follow it for approximately 1 kilometer. At the next roundabout, take the first exit onto Triq San Pawl and continue for about 3 kilometers. Follow the signs towards Mdina. Upon reaching Mdina, park your car in one of the designated parking areas near the city. From the parking area, walk towards the entrance of Mdina Gate, which is located at the northern side of the city walls.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Ghajn Tuffieha Bay, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Triq Ghajn Tuffieha. Take bus route 101 towards Valletta. After about 30 minutes, transfer at the Valletta bus terminal and take bus route 51 or 52 towards Mdina. The journey will take approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Mdina' bus stop. From there, it is a short walk to Mdina Gate, which is clearly marked. Please note that a single bus ticket costs approximately €1.50, and you may need to have exact change.
