If you're driving from Gozo Citadel, start by exiting the Citadel and heading towards the main road. Follow signs for Mgarr, which will lead you to the ferry terminal. Once you reach Mgarr, take the ferry to Cirkewwa on Malta mainland. After disembarking, follow the signs to Marsaxlokk. Take the A1 road and then switch to the B2 road towards Marsaxlokk. Continue straight until you reach the area near RHF5+G5R, where Fort Delimara is located. Look for parking options available near the fort.
Public Transportation
To reach Fort Delimara via public transport from Gozo Citadel, first take the bus from Victoria (the main town in Gozo) to Mgarr. From Mgarr, hop on the ferry to Cirkewwa on Malta mainland. Once you arrive in Cirkewwa, take bus number 81 or 82 towards Marsaxlokk. The bus will take you through various stops; remain on the bus until you reach the stop closest to Fort Delimara. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to the fort. Follow the signs and local directions to reach the fort entrance.
