Il-Ħagar Museum is easily accessible on foot from the Victoria bus terminal. Head southwest on Triq il-Kanun, which leads directly to St George's Square. The museum is located on the square on Triq il-Karita', next to St. George's Basilica.

From the Mġarr ferry terminal, take any bus to Victoria. Most bus routes in Gozo have Victoria as their central terminus. From the Victoria bus terminal, walk towards St George's Square. The museum is a short walk from the terminal.
